Qaqamba Gqobo

Qaqamba is originally from Umtata in the Eastern Cape. Her family moved to Cape Town in 1993. Having come from a rather “Model C” Catholic St Joseph’s Junior Secondary School, acclimatising to the very private Anglican Herschel Girls Preparatory School was still a challenge. But one she welcomed graciously and with energetic, bubbling enthusiasm. Her interests are vast. To that end, she will travel anywhere for great live music…even NYC for a country music festival (and proudly!).
